Mentees
Mentorship opens doors to opportunity, providing young women with the guidance, skills, and connections needed to navigate their careers with confidence.
Who are our mentees?
Our mentees are young women in Kenya who have completed their education but face barriers to entering the workforce. Many come from underserved backgrounds, where access to career opportunities is limited. Despite their challenges, they are determined to pursue meaningful careers, create change in their communities, and break cycles of inequality.
Through mentorship, these young women receive the guidance, encouragement, and resources they need to take their next steps with confidence.
What mentees Gain
Mentees receive expert advice on career development, resume building, interview preparation, and industry-specific insights to help them secure job opportunities that align with their goals.
We equip mentees with essential leadership skills, helping them build confidence, improve communication, and develop the ability to advocate for themselves in professional settings.
Mentees connect with professionals across industries, gaining exposure to networks that can open doors to career advancement, internships, and meaningful collaborations.
Beyond professional development, mentorship fosters self-confidence, resilience, and a sense of empowerment, ensuring mentees are prepared to take on challenges and create lasting impact in their careers and communities.
After the mentorship partnership ends, mentees join our alumni community and gain continued access to professional development workshops and guest speaker sessions to support their career growth and ongoing learning.
